Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Production Assistant Manager to oversee our Machineshop operations, ensuring efficient production and quality control. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and production management, with a proven track record of leading teams and optimizing production processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Machineshop operations, including production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure high standards of product quality and reliability.
• Lead, develop, and motivate a team of production staff to achieve operational excellence.
• Analyze and resolve production issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as design, procurement, and maintenance, to optimize production processes and improve overall efficiency.

Required Skills

• BE/B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in production management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of quality control principles and practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and techniques.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
