Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to lead our SCM/Purchase - Imports team, responsible for managing the importation of raw materials, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring timely customs clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle imports of raw materials from overseas countries, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
• Manage daily, weekly, and monthly shortages, developing strategies to minimize delays
• Develop new sources for rubber coated steel gasket raw materials, fostering strong relationships with suppliers
• Negotiate prices with suppliers, aiming to achieve cost-saving targets
• Track in-transit shipments and ensure timely customs clearance, resolving any issues that may arise
• Maintain inventory levels, optimizing stock levels to meet production demands

Required Skills:

• 7-10 years of experience in the automotive industry, particularly in import departments
• Strong knowledge of IATF16949 and SAP MM Module
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks effectively
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems
